When Jesus fed the thousands, He did not first check to see if they would be His disciples. He did not require them to come to Him for salvation. But they followed him for miracles, and he with wisdom strategically fed their spirit with the Word of Life when he was filling their empty stomachs.
Most of the Christians believe we need to help the poor, Yes of course it is our responsibility according to the Bible, but just as Jesus (our example) used wisdom we also need to make wise decisions on who to help and who not to help? Some Christians/ ministries/ Organizations/ Churches are feeding without sharing the word of God (everlasting food). Some are feeding extremists as in the west they are feeding millions of refugees/ il-legal immigrants but neglecting their own brethren who are persecuted in islamic states. We need to feed & forgive our enemies but with wisdom and strategies we need to bring awareness in our communities to not empower the enemies of GOD, NOT empower the enemies of humanities.
We as HLF family are blessed to feed the hungry children in Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. HLF always works to share the love of Jesus Christ around the world, but our team also knows the love of Jesus Christ is not only to feed the poor with food but also feed their spirit. These people need Jesus Christ, The Gospel can bring happiness, The Gospel can bring life back to these lives. Christians are commanded to help one another but we are also called to help those who are less fortunate than we are. Job wrote, “I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them” (Job 29:12).
Join HLF family – Global Peacemakers Team to fulfill the commandment of Jesus Christ. We all being One in Christ will glorify the Kingdom of God in every corner of the world.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you? The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:34-40
